5357 fare dodgers fined in Riga public transport in July 2012

Data of "Rīgas satiksme" about ticket checkups in July 2012:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Buses	2086
Trolleybuses	2069
Trams	1202
Total:	5357

This is by 296 fare dodgers less than in June 2012, when 5653 passengers were fined for using public transport without tickets.

Ticket checkups in public transport:
Buses	11147
Trolleybuses	10109
Trams	3885
Total:	25141

Just to compare: there were 24 412 ticket checkups in June 2012, which is by 729 checkups less than in July 2012.

In July 2012 the maximum number of fare dodgers (262) was fined on tram route No. 6, but the minimum number (1 passenger) was fined on bus route No. 47.
